AT THE #FASTESTHALF, COUNTRIES RACE FOR GLORY!

On April 27th, the Türkiye İş Bankası 20th Istanbul Half Marathon will bring together athletes from all over the world in the unique atmosphere of Istanbul. In this special race where history and sports intertwine, the fastest runners will not only break their own records but will also sweat it out to take their countries’ flags to the top.

WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE OF COUNTRIES’?
The ‘Challenge of Countries‘ is a special ranking for athletes registered in the 21K category of the Türkiye İş Bankası 20th Half Marathon, where they race for their country. The athletes’ finishing times contribute to their country’s total time, and the country with the best overall time becomes the champion!

CATEGORIES

Men’s Category:
• The times of the fastest 5 male athletes from each country are added together.
• The country with the best total time becomes the champion!

Women’s Category:
• The times of the fastest 3 female athletes from each country are added together.
• The country with the best total time becomes the champion!

There are no age restrictions! Only the general category will be considered.

AWARD
Athletes from the top 5 countries will receive digital certificates featuring their country’s flag, which will be uploaded to the registration system.
