    Yenikap\u0131:<\/strong>\u00a0The first stop of our #FastestHalf, Yenikap\u0131, was an important port and trade center during the Byzantine Empire. Known as \u201cNeorion\u201d in that period, this area served as the heart of the city\u2019s sea trade. Remarkably, Byzantine shipwrecks uncovered during excavations for the Marmaray and Istanbul metro are among Yenikap\u0131\u2019s most significant historical discoveries.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
